WEEK 337
"I would love my new job," Rose said, "if it just wasn't for the..."

...endless,mindless chatter of my co-worker. Day after day, I sit in my little 4x4 cubicle,as Mary precedes to tell me,(thru the fiberboard wall that separates us) of her latest crisis of the day. Such as, how her cat Midge knocked over her favorite bottle of siren red nail polish, half way thru polishing her 3" artificial nails. Who needs 3" nails? ...the commute, the hours, the meager pittance I'm paid, my cranky boss and my dull lazy co-workers. Other than that it is the best job I ever had."

...the...the..." but she couldn't continue, burying her face in her hands and shuddering.

Daisy and Violet looked at each other in concern. So far, this sisters' reunion wasn't going well. First, it had taken them forever to decide on a restaurant, then, when they were finally seated, the waiter had mixed up their orders and given the sisters SEAFOOD, which they were all allergic to.

Now there was this bad news about Rose's job. Finally under control, she lifted her head and said, "The boss is very...eccentric. He keeps a SNAKE in the office, and lets it roam around. Sometimes I'll be typing along, and suddenly feel something SLITHERING on my feet." She stopped and shuddered again.

Just then, Daisy's eyes opened wide and her face blanched.

"What is it, Daisy?" asked Violet.

"I feel...something...SLITHERING!!!!"

Three terrified young ladies ran screaming out of the restaurant.
