"Compared to the beast I just saw," Gerty said, "King Kong looks like a..."


...friendly creature. Gerty was getting upset about how many giants and goblins were around his country. On his way to tell the king about it, an angry giant kicked him for no reason whatsoever. Instead of walking away like a man, Gerty kicked the giant as hard as he could. This only got the giant more angry. The giant kicked Gerty so hard that he flew right over the castle. Gerty when to the witch lady to get something that would make him stronger than the giant. When Gerty finally got to the castle entrance, the giant was there waiting for him, only this time Gerty was ready. Gerty picked the giant up with one hand and kicked him all the way to the Japan. Gerty left the castle feeling confident that no other giant would mess with him again."

Gerty looked up at the psychiatrist whose face showed no trace surprise or skepticism. Thankfully she could not read his mind. Had she been able she would have been offended to find he regarded her as a complete lunatic. Half listening to the rest of her tail he wondered how to leave her momentarily to initiate her commitment.

Scott frowned at his sister. "King Kong was a giant ape that beat up giant snakes and dinosaurs and climbed tall buildings and fought airplanes, moron."

"Really? I thought that was Godzilla."

"Nah, he liked beating up other monsters and destroying cities."

"Wasn't that the fifty-foot woman?"

"No, she just ran around in a bedsheet ripping roofs off houses, searching for her cheating husband."

"I thought that was our neighbor, Mabel."

"Don't go there..."
