WEEK 323
The zookeeper stared in awe at the orangutan before saying, "Dolly, when did you learn to..."

...to put on lipstick?"

An old woman, who came to the zoo on a regular basis, always made sure to stop by and see Dolly. But today she just stood there in disbelief apparently, Dolly had reached through the fence and snatched the old woman's purse. As all those near the orangutan's cage, watched, in amazement, Dolly pulled one item at a time out of the purse, tossing it over her head, until she came to the small tube at the bottom of the old woman's purse. Curiously, she looked at it, smelled it, licked it, tasted it, and finally opened it. Turning to the small pond in her enclosure, Dolly puffed up her lips and applied the beautiful shade of red. Everyone observing applauded the beautiful Dolly, and it seemed, most thought, she had a ruby red smile!

...pick your nose?"

Dolly was busily grabbing at sticks on the ground and poking them in her nostrils for about five minutes. All the while, Ted, the zookeeper, stood watching with his mouth wide open.

He kept waiting for a nasty piece of snot to come flying out. Then suddenly Dolly broke one of the little sticks in two and picked her teeth.

"Dolly, when did you learn to use tooth picks!"

"Ted, when did you learn to talk. You usually just pick up poop," Dolly replied.

...sort antiques in chronological order by manufacture date? And, wow, they’re even then sorted by size, color, and weight! I’ve got to tell someone about this!” he added, running off.

Dolly leaned on her chin on her closed fist. “Crazy human,” she muttered. “Gets all excited over the silly things in life. I would think the obvious question would center more on the issue of how I got all these antiques into my enclosure in the first place!”
