"I don't think it's soda in that cup," Krissy said, making a face. "It tastes suspiciously like..."

...motor oil."
"I don't care," Kent retorted, snatching the cup and gulping. "Better. Now load up the DVD and laptops. Move!"
The two black-clad bandits began bagging the loot that represented their night's work. Twenty minutes later, Kent eyed the garage. "Done. Come on let's beat it!"
Kent was at the door when the strangled cries reached him. He whirled around. Krissy's face and body contorted hideously and convulsions wracked her body. She slipped to the concrete floor, her spine arching until Kent thought it would snap. Minutes later, Krissy was gone.
"Kris! What the hell?" Kent never finished his sentence. The pains came on, crashing through his system with the force of a tsunami. His last thought: Krissy was wrong. That cup hadn't held motor oil. It was full of strychnine.

...the glass cleaner we used this morning for the mirrors."
Krissy loves to drink but this is not any fun, this is serious. You didn't drink to much of it did you? Krissy answer me, I yell, Krissy falls to the floor. I check her to see if she's breathing, I call 911. Krissy goes to the hospital, they have to pump her stomach. She's not a happy camper right now.
Krissy stays in the hosptial for two days, she is so angry that she drank that drink of glass cleaner, she swears off drinking all together.
This may be a good thing, Krissy was really drinking way too much. Yes this is a good thing, I'm so glad for her. Now she's really on way to being sober.

...radioactive onions."
Jim took the cup away from her. "It is!" He exclaimed, "And you just about drunk it all down. We had better get you to the hospital quick."
Meanwhile inside of Krissy's body on the molecular level the radioactive onion proteins were beginning their attack upon her body...
"This doesn't look good," the doctor told Krissy, The radioactivity is causing you body to change rapidly. It just a matter of hours, you body will no longer be human. Also, there might be some after effects that could last a lifetime, or a few hours.
Krissy sat staggered, but before she even uttered a word, her body began to change. She took on the face of her doctor. Jim, who was sitting close by pulled back, stunned.

...toothpaste, without the minty flavor."
The waiter bowed supercilliously. "I assure madam it is soda she is drinking. I personally mix it myself."
"You mixed it? Why would soda need mixing?" Krissy asked confusedly.
"I mix the soda powder with water to make drink. Though I never heard of anyone drinking soda in water."
Suddenly it dawned on Krissy. Baking soda! That idiot had given her baking soda!
"This is NOT what I ordered!" she fumed. "Get me some coffee." The waiter bowed, strutted away, and soon returned with a mug of steaming coffee.
Krissy took a sip. Then she said. "Is this coffee fresh?"
"Yes madam."
"Are you sure? It tastes like dirt."
"It should madam. It was ground this morning."
Krissy began to feel sick.
"Madam, if you not like it, I get you something else. Perhaps lemonade?"
"No, I'll just take some ice water, thanks."
The waiter promptly brought the water. But what was this? "There is a HAIR in my water!" Krissy almost screamed.
"Madam, that is entirely possible. I just shaved the ice."
Thereupon Krissy threw the water in the waiter's face and rushed out, never to return.

...straight lemon juice. You know Tigga doesn't like lemon juice! He likes soda."
"Well, we don't have any soda. Water it down. He won't know the difference!"
"He will too. He's had it before. Not good. He's really happy with soda. It makes him a happy kitty cat."
"Cats should be drinking milk, not soda. Anyway, what happened last time when you gave him lemon juice?"
"He turned into a sour puss!"
