...before he could move in a slow retreat from his brother's room, the eyes seemed to grow larger. Jeremy froze as his heart pounded loudly. Daring to turn away, he looked down the hallway to the front door. Jeremy moved slowly away from the open closet door. Suddenly, lights flickered on and bathed the room in light as the din of a distant radio blared upstairs. The power is back! Startled, Jeremy bolted down the hall, looking back at the open door to Jake's room. With courage born anew, he tiptoed back and peered into the once dark abyss of the closet. There, staring back at him, were the glow-in-the-dark eyes of Teddy Glow Bear.
