Melinda was furious with her little brother. It was Peter who had immaturely squirted her with ketchup in the first place. Now her favorite blouse was totally ruined, and it was all his fault. Melinda wanted to scream.

She wiped the canned cat food off her hands disgustedly.

She met her cousin Mikey on her way out.

"What on earth made you put CAT FOOD in the soap dish?"

"Oh, I thought it would make a good plate for Ilonglilola."

"Well you can take whatever her name is out of there, or I will strand those goldfish you have in the bathtub!"

"No! Not Grentsoyntromy and Vivundrowlika!"

"Yep. And if that doesn't work... you know that parrot that is always perching on the light fixture?"

"You mean Blimweihunch?" Mikey asked in a worried voice.

"Uh, I guess so. But I'm going to get a box and bury him in a deep dark hole in the woods."

Mikey sighed. "Oh all right. I'll move Ilonglilola to my room. But she really liked sleeping in the cabinet. Besides, there really isn't much space in my room, what with Norwilvinor and Heteraveesery and Oklepnythentriol and..."

Melinda groaned. Oh why did she come visit THESE cousins?
