"Hey, y'all, watch this!" Ricky shouted and proceeded to...

...do a 360 spin on his skateboard.

"Whew, that was cool!" he exulted, turning to face the rest of the skateboarders. But they were all ignoring him, joking among themselves, or absentmindedly watching an ameture slide down the ramp.

He climbed up the ramp, and calling out to the clubbers flew down and back up on his board, doing a spectacular move at the top.

"Did you see that?" he yelled at the still uninterested skateboarders. "I can't believe you didn't see that! Fine. Whatever you do, don't look at me!"

With that, all eyes turned on Ricky, and at the same moment he dropped his board on his toe, causing him to lose balance and topple over backwards off the ramp.

"Yeah, well what about moon over Miami? You missed that one, Ricky."

"That's ok, I will have forgotten all about it by the time I get to Phoenix."

"Phoenix, I thought you lived in Chicago."

...slide down the steep hill on an old ironing board."

"Think he'll kill himself?" Sally asked.

"Probably," Tina answered. "He'll most likely hit that tree at the bottom of the hill."

"You mean the only tree for three miles in any direction?"

"The way his luck has been going..."

The wind carried up the hill the sound of a shout, a crash, a very loud moan.

Sally sighed. "Well, you were right, Tina. The only tree for three miles..."

"I could win money predicting what that boy will do."
