"I can tell you don't like me," Rusty said, "because every time you see me you..."
|
...turn your face askance and waddle away.
"Why don't you understand me? We have both been reared in the same neighbourhood. From the time you were born and I was three, I have seen you grow up under my own eyes. In those days you used to escape from your home and come to my home to play with me and crave for my company.
Now you are of a marriageable age, you turn your eyes to greener pastures, when I over here dote on you. You gnarl your teeth and growl at me.
I know many must be singing praises of your beauty, but remember such curs are vain. I know you are a beautiful poodle with silken hair, which would attract the danes and alsatians and such of those kind and you too want to go after those machos. However don't forget that although I am a bull dog and rusty in appearance and ugly to look at, I have a heart of gold. I will treat you like a queen if you are wedded to me.
Think before you leap into a puddle of dirty slush and opt for danes and alsatians, than into a pool of perfume and fragrance with me.
I am still waiting, waiting, waiting!!!!

...turn green. If you hate me, why can't you just tell me? I may not be a good boyfriend, but I deserve to know." Then he quickly barred his eyes shut and waited for Aliesha's voice to ring across the telephone.
"Really, it's not that at all. I'm alergic to you, but I don't hate you. And I turn green because I suddenly get sick to my stomach whenever you get within six feet of me. That's why I run to a trash can, too."
"um...Aliesha, I AM a science major. I think I'd know if that were humanly possible."
****Alternate realities! Pick!***
a) "Oh, no!" Aliesha howled. "I knew someone would discover my secret eventually, but, really, I've only been on earth for three months, and I don't want to cut my exchange trip short already!"
b) Aliesha's face turned ashen. "You know," she wheezed, "I think I'm getting alergic over the phone, too."
c) "Well, it's not so much of a physical alergy -- more of a sensory response to your appearance and odor. But if you washed your hair and clothes once in a while, I'm sure it would go away."

...are wearing an expression of disdain upon your face."
"That's your imagination."
"It's obvious you don't want to see me anymore, Jessica."
"I have a lot on my plate, Rusty. It's my first year in college and don't forget that I am putting a lot of hours in at my mom's store."
"It must be taxing selling all those candles and taking appointments."
"See, Rusty, right there you have something sarcastic to say. You know my mom is the most sought after designer in this area."
"I didn't come here to talk about your mom; I came to talk about us."
Jessica closed her eyes, "There is no us."
"Jessica, you're the only girl I will love forever."
The bell over the door rang out, signaling a customer. The tall, leggy woman sauntered across the floor to the counter where Jessica and Rusty were.
"H-e-ll-o," Rusty said, eyeing the woman with interest.

...vomit three weeks of food onto the carpet."
"Oh, that's not because of you," Karen said. "You just happen to walk in at the right, er, wrong time."
"Uh, it's happened the last fifteen times I've seen you, Karen."
"Really? Huh. Still, I wouldn't say it's because of you..."
